No Pushover

I want to run far away,
some place only I can find me,
some place where Im allowed my own way.

I am so tired of keeping my lips locked,
eyes glazed over,
and not giving my opinion on the spot.

I am so frustrated with feeling like this
like I am the only who knows,
just how easily I am missed.

I am so aggravated with feeling,
that my feelings,
are an invalid being.

And lastly I am done,
with standing by,
and letting others take a run.

Letting others take hits at me,
just because they can,
I am now deciding, who I am.

I am done,
with being a play toy,
I am done with being a ploy.
